Do you get a thrill from paranormal activity? Are you interested about after life and where we go once we die? Check out some of the haunted houses/buildings in Yorkshire, and perhaps take a visit to these eerie places! ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
1- The Black Swan Pub
This pub in Helmsley dates to over 500 years of many fascinating ghost stories, with the most common sighting being a gentleman wearing a bowler hat who sits at the bar. There have also been other stories involving a blonde female bride and a small boy dressed in Victorian clothes known as a pick pocketer called Matthew due to items often going missing behind the bar. Why not go to this pub to experience the paranormal activity yourself?
2- Bolling Hall
Bolling Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Bradford and was built in the 14th century. Images have been taken of a ghost who is said to be Commander Charles Wood and his wife who previously lived in Bolling Hall in the 18th century. Commander Wood died of sea battle injuries but is said to still wander the halls of this building which is now a museum. Maybe take a trip to this museum and introduce yourselfโฆ
3- 30 East Drive
This house has undergone numerous accounts of paranormal activity for decades. Poltergeist activity has been reported at this house for over 40 years, with the most disturbing incident being a 12-year-old girl being dragged up the stairs of her home before the spirit tried to strangle her with an electrical wire. Exorcisms were unsuccessful and paranormal activity still takes place even today; creepy.
