House Prices in Yorkshire

House prices in Leeds and Bradford are still increasing with values now being 9.5% higher than 2021! Buying properties in Leeds has become competitive. 16% more potential buyers sent enquiries to agents compared to 2021. Properties for sale in Yorkshire are up 11% compared to 2021.

The value of property for sale in Leeds has skyrocketed and hit a record high with an average sale price of £348,804. This corelates to a 2.3% rise year on year. The result means that properties for sale in West Yorkshire has increased by nearly £40,000 since the pandemic first began in 2019.

However, the rise in property value in Leeds has not deterred buyers. Property sales in Leeds have increased alongside the values. The anticipated drop in sales following the end of the stamp duty holiday has certainly been avoided. On the contrary, property sales in West Yorkshire have remained strong.
